UMZ UMZ Nightshift

At the Tag der Clubkultur, UMZ UMZ debuts its Nightshift series, a
celebration of cultural reunification. Inspired by German history, the
first night counters fragmentation in the club scene.
To honor the bass music scene’s diversity and unity, a wide range of
collectives take part.

The soundtrack moves chronologically: 90s techno flows into breaks and
house, rolls forward to deep dubstep, and peaks with modern drum and
bass - our perspective on Berlin’s bass evolution.

Community and creative collaboration are at the heart of the event,
making it a central meeting point for the scene.

UMZ UMZ stands for immersive rave experiences where music, lights, and visuals merge into one intense, unified stimulus. We place great emphasis on carefully curated lineups and supporting
underground and emerging artists. With collaboratively designed audio-visuals and light installations, we strive for synaesthesia. Through the “Nightshift” series, we connect local DNB crews and introduce bass genres to a wider audience. We also host solidarity events and open airs.
