DTB PARTY
The DTB Party has long been a staple at Cassiopeia and one of the last regular club nights in Berlin dedicated to rock, punk, metal, and hardcore. It lives by the motto “building bridges”: between generations, as longtime fans and new visitors celebrate together; between genres, from old-school punk and metalcore to pop; and around social issues, through charity drives, political engagement, and solidarity.
Each edition features a live concert (this time with the band Long Lost Gravity) and fosters real support structures: independent, non-commercial, and driven by a passion for music and community. The DJs are part of the scene, and the crowd is loyal and diverse. DTB isn’t a nostalgic throwback; it’s a living, breathing expression of subculture - a visible counterpoint in a city where alternative guitar-driven sounds are increasingly rare.

cassiopeia Club
For 20 years, the cassiopeia Club has shaped Berlin’s club scene as a hub of subcultural diversity beyond the mainstream. Located in the heart of the RAW district, it stands for a vibrant, independent scene that creates spaces increasingly disappearing elsewhere in the city. While Berlin is often internationally defined by its techno scene, Cassiopeia offers a stage for alternative currents like rock, punk, metal, and pop—genres whose presence has dwindled with the closure of clubs such as Magnet, Knaack, and Nuke.
More than just a music venue, cassiopeia is a platform for culture, community, and social engagement. Here, generations, scenes, and people come together who often have no place in Berlin’s increasingly homogeneous club culture. In doing so, the club makes a vital contribution to the city’s cultural diversity, supports emerging talent, and preserves a space where subculture remains a living, breathing part of the present.
