From Kreuzberg to the World: SOLID x RBL

For this year’s Tag der Clubkultur, RBL Berlin invites you to SOLID – our new home in Kreuzberg. More than just a bar, SOLID is a place for culture, music, and dialogue, reinvesting in Kreuzberg’s creative and social life at a moment when cultural spaces are increasingly under pressure. Its opening is a statement: spaces for collective action, shared memory, and reimagining the future are still possible.

The theme “Bridging Realities” resonates deeply with RBL. As a radio connecting Berlin, Turin, and Barcelona, we already connects different cities and communities — and radio itself embodies this idea, transmitting voices and music across invisible borders. With this event, we open SOLID to be discovered as a future meeting point for collaborations with collectives and cultural entities, supporting the smaller, underground realities where Berlin’s club culture is born and constantly renewed, making sure we can keep building bridges for the future, together.

RBL - Radio Banda Larga

RBL is a web radio community based in Turin, Barcelona and Berlin, born from the desire to bring people together through a shared love of music and moments of connection.

RBL was founded in 2013 in Turin, on the banks of the Po River. Its radio stream grew steadily until it reached Berlin, where in 2017 a parallel hub was opened, embracing the city’s vibrant cultural scene, spreading the use of web radio like wildfire. Since then, the two stations have worked in parallel with shared goals, fostering creative exchange between countries, art forms, and disciplines.

Reaching friends and curious ones, with time RBL Berlin built a strong foundation that gave birth to a cultural association, which still involves expats and locals. A wonderful story of participation,
gatherings, passions and joy, from summer tours to the Karnival der Kulturen, from a crowdfunding campaign to get the first equipment to the very first actual studio.
