Calentura Fest
We will organize a festival for this day, offering not only music but also a place where you can enjoy good food and watch films from the diaspora. The festival will last a whole day with various acts. Salsa sets with records, a VJ show with music in the gallery, our mercadito outside, and the best line-up of artists from the diaspora.

Calentura Berlin
Calentura Berlin is a collective founded in 2020, consisting of three members:
Simon, Ñaño, and Paulah. Our vision arose from the desire to anchor our Afro-Latin American roots in Berlin through music and dance and to create spaces for migrant, queer, and racialized communities. We organize ourselves collectively in flat structures; collaboration, care, and
solidarity are our guiding principles. Our origins lie in the experience that music in Latin America is a social ritual: dance and sound are expressions of joy, grief, protest, and healing. This understanding shapes our motivation in Berlin: Calentura creates spaces where community cohesion can be experienced and encounters are possible with low barriers to entry.
We are part of a broad network—both locally (e.g., Metarave, La Regla, Al.Berlin, Kimchi Records) and internationally (including Bogotá, Madrid, Mexico City)—that also connects and nourishes the local scene, and we work collectively, grassroots.
