Rise Reflections
Under the motto Rise Reflections we present on Oct 4 at Studio 1111 an immersive event that showcases Afro House as a bridge between continents, generations, and cultural realities.
At its core is the EP series of the same name, where our team has woven sounds, languages, and musical elements from their roots – creating an intimate dialogue between origin and future.
Live DJs and invited remixers from Berlin, Africa, and the diaspora merge their sounds into a collective flow. Argentine visual artist Lucas Gutierrez transforms the music into 360° projections, turning the venue into a pulsating artwork.
Before the club night we host a Community Talk & Listening Session, where artists and audience engage in dialogue on cultural appropriation, visibility, and integrity in Afro House. In this way, we build bridges between the Berlin scene and international networks – strengthening awareness for the real African electronic music.

Rise Berlin
Rise Berlin is a house music collective that has grown organically from the Berlin scene since 2015. We see ourselves as a bridge between the city’s electronic culture and emerging talents from Africa and its diaspora. Our mission: to increase the visibility of African and Afro-diasporic artists in club culture and to create spaces for genuine exchange.
As pioneers, we stand for the real African electronic music – at a time when many collectives use the sound without honoring its roots. We work closely with international networks, festivals, and cultural initiatives, positioning ourselves as the Berlin voice of Afro House.
Our members – DJs, producers, dancers, and visual artists – organize club nights, open-airs, workshops, and discourse formats. The result is a sound that transcends borders, strengthens communities, and makes African music visible, celebrated, and respected in club culture.
