Night Of The Log Call - as part of the 8MM Fest

On October 10th 2025 Salon Oblique will host an event in the historic Zionskirche which aims to highlight the event of the attack on the Zionskirche in 1987 by extreme-right-skinheads, the subsequent protests and groundbreaking inquiry into the attack and the relevance of this incident in contemporary society with a two part presentation as well as an installation. The event will comprise two live concerts, specifically chosen in relation to the concept and its historical associations and
for their contrastingly intimate and emotive performance approaches.

Franzisker Aigner aka FRANKIE is a cellist and vocalist working at the intersection of music, performance, and philosophy. Her multi-disciplinary practice has seen her perform at a diverse range of events such as Venice Biennale and Atonal Festival + Nigerian artist and filmmaker LINTD will join Porter Brook in an interpretation of their work ‘Black Utopia’ presented at the White Hotel in Manchester.

8MM Bar

As musicians themselves, they maintain a direct and authentic connection to the bar’s musical focus and Berlin’s alternative music scene, ensuring the bar continues to embody the values of community and independent culture.
