SUBVERTED x KLEM - DARK AMBIENT LISTENING EVENT

For Passage 1/3, SUBVERTED joins forces with KLEM for a listening event dedicated to dark ambient, rumbling drones, resonant electronics, cinematic atmospheres and deep soundscapes at your favorite secret location in Berlin.

This immersive experience invites deep listening and quiet presence—it puts music in the centre and serves as a tribute to those who were there before us, a reflection of the now, and a gesture toward the futures we’re shaping. It is about being grounded in the present, while acknowledging the foundations laid by past movements and imagining how our work will impact what comes next.

We will have some couches as well as a few pillows and blankets but feel free to bring your own mat/ pillow/ blanket for additional comfort.

SUBVERTED is a queer record label and event series focusing on the darker genres of electronic music, ranging from drone and noise to hypnotic and industrial techno. We curate queer sex-positive parties with equally queer line-ups, featuring almost exclusively non-binary, trans, gay, lesbian, and bisexual artists at our events and on our label releases. Alongside queer artists, we also frequently feature women regardless of sexual orientation.

Our aim is to platform creatives with gender and sexual identities that are under-represented in the music industry, showing that it is possible to have more inclusive and diverse booking practices without a decrease in musical quality, but in fact with an increase by bringing new and previously unheard perspectives to the dance floor.
