Seta Kien is Maltese experimental musician and sound artist Kurt Buttigieg, exploring memory, language, and materiality through sound. His music is described as “a well of time”, “nervous, pulsing ambient” and “gorgeous, otherworldly musique concrète”. It is built on repurposed vinyl, intimate field recordings, electronics, amplified objects and hand-spooled tapes. He is also runs Sustain-Delay, an adventurous music programme in Malta, and co-founder of the label Complex Holiday. The name Seta Kien means “what could have been” in Maltese and Maghrebi Arabic.

Whitehill
Improv, noise guitar / from London based in Berlin

Guitar mangling noise-troubadour, Benjamin Whitehill, employs the instrument as both sender and receiver of signals, come vessel of disturbances. Combining a technique focused on the textural / percussive with devices and preparations, in the conjuring of a pseudo-tape music – comprised of  oblique strings, feedback, radio-waves and electronic pulp – buzzing with mischievous voices; in tune with the cosmic microwave background.

Dim Ba (DJ-Set)
Psychedelic music, Noise, IDM, Breaks, world wide music

“Dim Ba” is a psychedelic music project created by Andre Badim, creator of “Bad Quality Music” movement and part of “Abstract Meditation Crew”.
Based in Berlin since 2018, the project contemplates both dance and abstract/ambient aspects of music, balancing performances between active meditation dance and pure sound listening.

About Madame Claude

Formerly a brothel very close to the berlin wall, MADAME CLAUDE is a bar located in the Kreuzberg-Schlesisches Tor district, which is well-known for its intense alternative nightlife.

Initiated by the childish dream to play in a backwards flat, the decoration of the main room of Madame Claude is a reconstitution of an apartment which would have been built upside down challenging the laws of gravity with furnitures on the ceiling.
Madame Claude welcomes events, concerts and DJ’s from 7pm till late.
About us
We are 3 French friends who were previously working in Paris, Madrid and London.
Some years ago, we decided to leave our professional activities to gather in Berlin in order to open a club/music venue although none of us was able to speak German.

After organizing different music shows in Berlin, we opened MADAME CLAUDE in 2008. Since then the place welcomed thousands of great bands and DJs.
