DRIFT KYIV

Born in Kyiv and now based in Berlin, DRIFT Kyiv brings together music, art and diverse communities to ask: what is the core of Berlin’s club culture today? Against the backdrop of Berlin’s elections and a changing cultural landscape, we look back at the city’s DIY, multidisciplinary, warehouse and donation-based roots while questioning what remains of that spirit. Through a panel talk, DJ sets, performance, zine presentation and visual art, we gather Ukrainian, African, German, queer and other voices to imagine what Berlin’s cultural core was and could be.
