For Tag Der Clubkultur, BRENN. issued an open call, where we invited individuals from diverse disciplines, identities, and ethnic and cultural backgrounds, especially those within the rainbow spectrum, to apply. Our focus was on amplifying underrepresented voices, and we placed particular emphasis on encouraging emerging talents to participate. After reviewing numerous inspiring applications, we selected four individuals who have not previously organised events in Berlin; each bringing unique perspectives and creative approaches.

Through personalised mentorship, we worked closely with them to refine and structure their concepts, ensuring alignment with our core values.

On the 3rd of October, at Mena, their efforts will come to life in an exciting day-to-night event filled with a variety of activities. These activities will center around both music, art/culture and sustainable practices, creating an immersive experience that promotes being more conscious within the realm of club culture.

The indoor/outdoor event will offer a vibrant, inclusive, and engaging space for all attendees to enjoy, learn, and connect with others.

BRENN. (est. 2017) is led by Queer Non-Binary DJ Flemish.Fetish and their crew.

Music and community are at the heart of BRENN. They focus on 90s House music during their club nights, a genre that resonates strongly with their Queer-Trans-BIPOC community. Bringing fun and smiles back to the dance floor is something the collective deeply values.

In addition to club nights, BRENN. launched BRENN.INVITES, a series of community events aimed at uplifting and promoting emerging talent by organizing workshops and other cultural activities.

In 2023, they expanded globally, creating safe(r) spaces and introducing awareness concepts through events in cities like New York, Cape Town, and more.
