Tag Der Clubkultur - The art of public speaking and MCing with BLEACH

Join us for a workshop on the art of public speaking and MCing, held from 6-730 PM on Monday 7th October at our new event space in Rixdorf.

This 90 minute workshop, led in English, introduces participants to public speaking and MCing techniques, through the lens of drag queen and founder of the POPPERS event series, BLEACH. She will explain and demonstrate her tactics for convincing public speaking, and convincing yourself that you are (and should be) the queen of the room.

Refuge Worldwide is a community radio station based in the Neukölln area of Berlin.

From our studios we host a range of live broadcasts, weekly workshops, performances and events with some of the world's finest journalists, DJs, artists and activists. After just six months on air, Refuge Worldwide was named in WIRE magazine's Top 100 Essential Radio Stations.

The station now serves as a vital outlet for creativity and discussion both within Berlin and online across the world.

As well as the radio, we run a wide range of educational and editorial projects, lifting up our local community and platforming the voices and stories of marginalised communi- ties. We’ve created workshop and mentorship programs ranging across topics such as mental health, sonic archiving, journalism, DJing, music production, podcasting, field recording and more.
