Club Kidz
Â
The project reflects our long-standing commitment to community and our belief that the future of club culture depends upon fostering meaningful exchange across generations. As Berlin's cultural landscape evolves, we see increasing value in creating spaces where children, parents, and artists can participate together, extending the social and creative values of club culture beyond the traditional nightlife setting.
For one day, Sameheads will transform into a family-oriented cultural space featuring music, workshops, and participatory activities inspired by the creative ecology of the club. The programme will include music-making sessions, art workshops, clothing upcycling, interactive installations, a child-friendly dancefloor, and a vintage children's flea market.
Resident DJs and musicians who have since become parents will lead hands-on sessions introducing children to synthesizers, DJ equipment, microphones, and sound experimentation in an open and playful environment. Throughout the day, the dancefloor will remain active at carefully moderated sound levels, allowing children and parents to experience music collectively.
In collaboration with the child-focused initiative Club Kidz, the programme will also feature upcycling workshops and a curated flea market promoting creativity and sustainable practices.
Over the past two decades, thousands of artists, producers, and DJs have come to Berlin drawn by its nightlife and creative freedom. Many have since established lasting roots, started families, and are now helping to shape the city's next cultural chapter. Club Kidz at Sameheads recognises this generational shift, creating opportunities to pass on the values that have long defined our community: curiosity, openness, mutual respect, and solidarity.
