OBXENE is a Berlin-born collective built around one fundamental belief: culture has the power to connect people, challenge boundaries, and create spaces where everyone can exist freely. Our overarching objective is to connect artists and music enthusiasts while defending, expanding, and continuously re-inventing the culture that brings us together.

Born from Berlin’s vibrant club culture, OBXENE emerged as a response to a world in which minorities, refugees, and vulnerable communities are too often confronted with exclusion, discrimination, and isolation. For us, the club is more than a place to dance. It can be a sanctuary, a temporary escape, and a space where differences become sources of strength rather than reasons for division.

Our collective is rooted in integration, music, art, diversity, and freedom of expression. We embrace otherness in all its forms and believe that individuality should be celebrated rather than suppressed. OBXENE is a hypnotic and pulsating platform for artists, performers, creatives, and communities from around the world, bringing people together through shared experiences and giving space to voices that deserve to be heard.

We are a multicultural, multigender, and multibelief collective of hardworking, open-minded, and passionate individuals. Although we come from different backgrounds and perspectives, we are united by a common purpose: to contribute to a more inclusive, fair, and connected society through music, creativity, and human connection.

Society often rejects what it does not understand. It can label anything that challenges established norms as obscene. We decided to reclaim that word. We are OBXENE. We transform rejection into identity, difference into power, and nonconformity into creative freedom.

Our events reflect this philosophy. They exist in the tension between darkness and light, beauty and ugliness, chaos and harmony. We believe in constructive destruction. Breaking down what no longer serves us in order to create something new, meaningful, and empowering.

In an unpredictable and constantly changing cultural landscape, survival itself can be an act of resistance. Despite the challenges facing our project and the wider scene, we remain committed to quality, creativity, and authenticity. We refuse to compromise our vision.
