We’re celebrating: 49 YEARS OF SCHWUZ – STAY CORE!
On October 3, 2026, we’re taking over ÆDEN for one night to throw our big birthday bash! We’ll be celebrating across four floors, multiple outdoor areas, and with plenty of surprises – big and small.
With “STAY CORE!”, SCHWUZ celebrates its 49th birthday. But this is much more than just a birthday party. At a time when we don’t have a permanent home, STAY CORE! puts everything SCHWUZ has stood for over almost five decades front and center: queer community, cultural diversity, political engagement, nightlife, and a safer space bringing together different generations and scenes. That’s the core of who we are.

SCHWUZ is Germany’s oldest queer club and has been a vital space for queer emancipation, visibility and culture in Berlin since 1977. Born out of Homosexuelle Aktion Westberlin, SCHWUZ has been shaping the city’s queer community and club culture for almost 50 years. What makes us who we are: we bring together club culture, community and political activism, creating spaces shaped by and for the queer community. After closing our doors in Neukölln, we’re back with pop-up parties across Berlin’s clubs while searching for our new queer home!
